Job Description
The Senior Sales Executive will be responsible for managing the over all Sales activities and sales team by generating leads, meeting customers, understanding their solar requirements, presenting suitable rooftop solar solutions, preparing and following up on quotations, and converting leads into successful projects. Candidates with hands-on sales experience in MNRE-related solar projects, government subsidy schemes, rooftop solar projects, and KSEB procedures will be strongly preferred.

Key Responsibilities
- Generate and develop current sales leads for rooftop solar projects.
- Develop the sales team and ensure sales targets are met.
- Meet residential, commercial, and potential institutional customers and understand their requirements.
- Explain solar PV systems, project benefits, ROI, savings, subsidy eligibility, and financing options to customers.
- Handle the complete sales process from lead generation to project order confirmation.
- Prepare and follow up on quotations and proposals.
- Conduct customer site visits and coordinate with the technical team for site assessment.
- Maintain regular follow-up with prospective customers and ensure timely conversion.
- Develop relationships with referral partners, electricians, builders, architects, and other potential lead sources.
- Coordinate with internal teams for smooth project execution after order confirmation.
- Maintain accurate records of leads, follow-ups, quotations, and sales conversions.
- Achieve monthly and quarterly sales targets.
- Stay updated on MNRE schemes, rooftop solar policies, government subsidies, KSEB procedures, net metering requirements, and solar market trends. Preferred Experience – MNRE / KSEB Solar Projects Candidates with experience in the following areas will have a strong advantage:
- MNRE rooftop solar projects
- Government-supported / subsidy-based rooftop solar projects
- PM Surya Ghar / residential rooftop solar schemes
- KSEB application,



approval, and related procedures
- Net metering / grid-connected rooftop solar
- Customer documentation and subsidy-related processes
- Residential and commercial rooftop solar sales
- Coordination with solar EPC / installation teams
- Experience working with solar EPC companies, system integrators, or renewable-energy companies Required Skills
- Proven experience in sales, preferably in the solar/renewable energy industry
- Strong communication and customer relationship skills
- Ability to identify sales opportunities and convert leads
- Good negotiation and presentation skills
- Ability to independently handle customer meetings and follow-ups
- Basic understanding of rooftop solar systems
- Good knowledge of the Kerala market and local customer network will be an advantage
- Ability to work towards sales targets
- Willingness to travel locally for customer meetings and site visits
- Basic computer skills and familiarity with MS Excel / CRM tools Educational Qualification
- Diploma / Bachelor's degree in any discipline.
- Candidates with technical or engineering qualifications related to electrical/solar/renewable energy will be an added advantage.

Job Type
