Responsibilities:
 Develop new vendors for machined components, fabrication, and purchased items as per company requirements  Conduct vendor evaluation and capability assessment including quality systems, manufacturing capacity, and commercial competitiveness.  Maintain approved vendor list (AVL) and ensure all vendors are issued vendor codes before procurement transactions.  Coordinate with project, production, and planning departments for timely material procurement for projects.  Monitor vendor performance related to quality, delivery, and cost effectiveness.  Handled rejection cases, arrange rework or replacement and coordinate corrective actions with vendors.  Negotiate with vendors to ensure procurement at optimum market rates and identify high-rate purchase cases.  Ensure materials received are in valuable condition without damage during transportation.  Coordinate with stores to ensure GRN (Goods Receipt Note) completion within 2 days of material receipt.  Ensure vendor bills are submitted to accounts within 2 days of GRN and follow up for timely payment process  Prepare and maintain monthly vendor performance rating reports and maintain vendor rating standards.  Maintain healthy vendor relationships and resolve vendor issues related to quality, delivery, or payment.



 Ensure materials are delivered to the correct project location and avoid location mismatch issues.  Support inventory monitoring by tracking Inventory Turnover Ratio (ITR) and inventory carrying cost.  Maintain proper purchase records, vendor documentation, and communication records for audit and reference purposes. Required

Skills:
 Vendor Identification & Development – Ability to identify and onboard capable suppliers.  Negotiation Skills – Ability to negotiate prices, delivery terms, and service conditions.  Technical Understanding – Ability to understand engineering drawings and machining requirements.  Vendor Performance Analysis – Ability to evaluate vendors based on quality, delivery, and cost parameters.  Problem Solving – Ability to resolve material rejection, supply delays, and vendor issues.  Coordination Skills – Effective coordination with stores, projects, quality, and accounts departments.  Documentation & Reporting – Ability to maintain vendor records and prepare performance reports.  Computer Proficiency – MS Excel for purchase and vendor tracking and ERP system  Communication Skills – Professional communication with vendors and internal teams.  Fluency in English, Hindi, and Marathi preferred.
