Location:
Horamavu, Bengaluru (In office, Full-time) Role Purpose Support the emotional, social and academic wellbeing of our students so that every child feels safe, heard and ready to learn. As a close-knit school, this is a varied role. Alongside counselling, you will help manage student records, the school ERP and day-to-day coordination, so you will need to be comfortable with computers.

Key Responsibilities
Student Counselling and Wellbeing
- Provide confidential, age-appropriate counselling for emotional, social, behavioural and academic concerns.
- Help students build self-awareness, resilience, coping skills and healthy study habits.
- Support students with peer issues, bullying, exam stress and transitions between classes or schools.
- Identify concerns early and refer to external specialists when needed.
- Follow the school’s child-safety and safeguarding procedures and escalate concerns on time. Workshops and Life Skills
- Plan and run age-appropriate sessions on emotions, friendships, digital safety, body safety and life skills.
- Conduct awareness sessions and workshops for parents and teachers. Working with Parents and Teachers
- Meet parents regularly to understand and support their child’s needs.
- Work with teachers on strategies for individual students and classroom behaviour.
- Share regular progress updates with the Principal. Admin and ERP Support
- Maintain student records, counselling logs and reports in the school ERP.




- Help with data entry, attendance, report cards, circulars and parent communication on the ERP.
- Support the admin team with documentation, school events and coordination as needed. Required Skills/Abilities

Education:
Master’s degree in Psychology, Counselling Psychology or a related field.

Experience:
At least 2 years as a school counsellor or in child/adolescent counselling.
- Child Development: Strong understanding of how children and teenagers grow, learn and behave.
- Computer

Skills:
Comfortable with MS Excel, Word, Google Workspace and school ERP or similar software.
- Communication: Clear spoken and written English; warm and confident with students, parents and staff.
- Ethics: Maintains confidentiality and professional boundaries. Preferred
- Training or certification in child counselling, play therapy or special needs support.
- Experience with a school ERP system.
- Knowledge of Kannada.
