Role Description The Junior Laboratory Technician role is a full time, on-site position based in Lucknow. The technician will assist in routine laboratory operations, including sample collection, labeling, preparation, and processing according to established protocols and safety standards. Daily responsibilities include operating and maintaining basic laboratory equipment, performing tests under supervision, recording and organizing data, and supporting quality control procedures to ensure accurate results. The role involves strict adherence to infection control and safety guidelines, proper waste disposal,



and maintaining cleanliness and order in work areas. The Junior Laboratory Technician will collaborate with senior technicians and laboratory staff, support documentation and reporting, and contribute to efficient workflow within the diagnostic lab. Qualifications
- Candidates should possess strong laboratory skills, including basic sample handling, preparation, and familiarity with core Laboratory Technicians responsibilities.
- Candidates should be proficient in working with Laboratory Equipment, including proper operation, routine calibration checks, and basic maintenance under supervision.
- Candidates should demonstrate solid Quality Control understanding, following standard operating procedures and participating in quality assurance checks.
- Candidates should have well-developed Analytical Skills to interpret test procedures, identify discrepancies, and escalate issues appropriately.
- Relevant diploma or degree in Medical Laboratory Technology or a related field.
- Knowledge of laboratory safety practices, infection control, and regulatory guidelines.
- Attention to detail, reliable documentation habits, and the ability to follow instructions accurately.
- Effective communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced clinical environment.
- Prior internship or entry-level experience in a diagnostic laboratory is an advantage.**
