Job Title: Chief Engineer

Full-time Job Summary We are seeking an experienced Chief Engineer to oversee the hotel's engineering and maintenance operations. The ideal candidate will be responsible for maintaining all hotel facilities, ensuring uninterrupted operations, managing engineering staff, and maintaining safety and operational standards.

Key Responsibilities
1. Oversee the overall engineering and maintenance operations of the hotel. 2. Ensure proper functioning of electrical, plumbing, HVAC, air-conditioning, and other technical systems. 3. Plan and supervise preventive and corrective maintenance activities. 4. Handle maintenance issues and ensure timely resolution of technical complaints. 5. Monitor the performance of generators, lifts, pumps, boilers, STP, WTP, and other hotel equipment. 6. Ensure compliance with fire safety regulations, electrical safety standards, and statutory requirements. 7. Manage engineering department staff, technicians, and maintenance teams. 8. Monitor engineering budgets, maintenance expenses, and inventory. 9. Coordinate with external vendors, contractors, and service providers. 10. Maintain records of equipment servicing, inspections, repairs, and maintenance reports. 11.



Implement energy-saving initiatives to reduce operational costs. 12. Ensure all hotel facilities are maintained to the required quality and safety standards. Skills & Requirements
- Proven experience in hotel engineering or facilities management, preferably in a senior engineering role.
- Degree or Diploma in Electrical, Mechanical, or relevant Engineering discipline.
- Strong knowledge of HVAC, electrical systems, plumbing, and building maintenance.
- Knowledge of fire safety systems and statutory compliance.
- Solid leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to manage maintenance teams and external contractors.
- Knowledge of preventive maintenance and energy management.
- Ability to handle emergency breakdowns and technical issues efficiently.
