Role & responsibilities
- We are looking for a talented Purchase Executive to undertake purchase projects for the benefit of our company and he should know very positive Telugu and English language accompanied by Hindi is must. Strong organisational skills and ability to work under pressure.
- He should have experience in Pharmaceuticals and life sciences industry
- Implement effective procurement process to ensure uninterrupted supplies to the organisation.
- Collaborate with Production and R & D Teams to understand their requirements and develop procurement plans proactively.
- Vendor negotiations and Reviews and processes purchase orders and ensure proper documentation in place for all the contracts Work on strategic partnerships with the vendors for larger business opportunities
- Coordinate with international suppliers and customs clearing to ensure that shipments reaches smoothly Manage supplier relationships, including regular communication, performance evaluations and issue resolution.
- Organize / participate in National events, exhibitions & conferences,
to reach more vendors Analyse inventory levels, demand forecasts and consumption patterns to optimise stock levels and reduce carrying costs.
- Prepare and present reports on procurement activities, performance metrics and cost savings to higher management. Preferred candidate profile We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Purchase Executive to manage procurement activities for our pharmaceutical manufacturing operations. The candidate will be responsible for sourcing raw materials, intermediates, solvents, packing materials, engineering spares, laboratory consumables, and imported materials while ensuring cost optimization, quality compliance, and uninterrupted supply to support production requirements. The ideal candidate should have excellent negotiation skills, experience in pharmaceutical procurement, vendor management, import procurement, and inventory planning. Proficiency in Telugu, English, and Hindi is essential.
