- Design, develop, and optimize embedded firmware using C/C++ for STM32 and ARM-based microcontrollers.
- Develop and integrate communication protocols such as UART, SPI, I2C, RS485, Modbus, and DLMS/COSEM.
- Perform board bring-up, BSP development, peripheral driver integration, and hardware debugging.
- Implement RTOS-based firmware, bootloaders, OTA updates, and secure firmware upgrades.
- Conduct firmware testing, debugging, regression testing, and performance optimization.
- Collaborate with hardware and QA teams for product integration and validation.
- Lead firmware development activities and mentor junior engineers.
- Mandatory: Hands-on experience with smart metering products, with the last 24 years of experience in the metering industry. Preferred candidate profile Smart Energy Meter, Smart Water Meter, Gas Meter, Metering.
