Position Summary: A Supply Chain & Logistics head is a key position in the Manufacturing & Operations organization and will be responsible for overall functioning of the department including Sourcing, Procurement, Stores & Logistics team size of 10-12 professionals. This role also requires an expertise to work in a matrix organization preferably in an MNCs balancing global & local needs, managing global stakeholders and vendors, drive globalization agenda, productivity initiatives and a mindset of strategic future sourcing requirements. Responsibilities:
This role will be partnering India Manufacturing & Operations Director to ensure smooth supply of materials for the continuity of the business to meet manufacturing targets and cost ownership for the India supply chain.
- Developing procurement strategies that are future ready and cost-effective.
- Negotiating with global and local suppliers to secure advantageous terms for Service, Electronics and Mechanical and general categories of products and materials.
- Ensuring timely material availability, effective planning, and scheduling of inventory from global and local suppliers interaction and PPIC & Sales Team.
- Handling procurement team dealing with Steel, Metals, and electronics components.




- Identifying Sourcing opportunities and engaging with reliable suppliers, responsible for long term supply contracts and existing and future Service contracts / agreements.
- Managing supplier Inventory, asset management and managing the engineering stores.
- Conducting periodic cost assessments and maintaining cost records for critical high value parts.
- Develop local vendor as per the global regulatory standards and became non dependable.
- Deep knowledge of import and export in a global market like China, Southeast Asia, and other EU markets.
- Strategic Sourcing, Value engineering & Category Management initiatives to bring cost efficiencies.
- Drive techno-commercial negotiations, Continuous monitoring of Suppliers quality, Cost & Delivery.
- Cross-Functional Collaboration: Partner with product Engineering / R&D; teams to align sourcing strategies with technical requirements for existing and NPDs.
- Capable of leading a large cross functional team motivating, inspiring & delivering results.
- Proficiency in any of the ERP tools SAP (MM/Ariba), Oracle, Jaggaer, and Coupa.
- Certified Lead Auditor (ISO) standards, ATEX, PESO & BIS certifications. Key Competencies

Education:
B.
E / B. Tech, (Mechanical branch) with an MBA in Supply Chain management

Experience:
Minimum 18-20 years of work experience preferably in an MNC as Supply Chain Head managing 1215-persons team. Handling a revenue size of 100-200 CR minimum in an MNC. Preferably from a manufacturing industry into Industrial products, Automobile or Oil and Gas sector, exposure into import/export from China, SE Asia & EU markets.
