Role Description: The Senior Medical Transcriptionist role is a full time, on-site position based in Uttar Pradesh, India. The individual in this role will listen to and interpret audio recordings and voice dictations from healthcare professionals, accurately transcribing them into standardized medical documents such as clinical notes, diagnostic reports, and discharge summaries. Daily responsibilities include reviewing and editing transcriptions for accuracy, consistency, and completeness, while ensuring correct usage of medical terminology and adherence to confidentiality and compliance standards. The Senior Medical Transcriptionist will also mentor junior transcriptionists, help establish quality benchmarks, manage complex or specialized cases, and collaborate with clinical and administrative teams to resolve ambiguities or discrepancies in documentation. Maintaining high typing speed and precision, meeting turnaround times, and supporting process improvements in transcription workflows are key aspects of this role.

Qualifications:

- Strong core transcription abilities, including Transcribing, Transcription, and Transcription Services,



with a focus on complex medical documentation.
- Solid knowledge of Medical Terminology across multiple specialties, enabling accurate interpretation of clinical language and procedures.
- High-level Typing proficiency with excellent speed and accuracy, and comfort working with transcription software and digital dictation tools.
- Prior experience as a medical transcriptionist, preferably in a senior or lead capacity, with demonstrated quality and reliability.
- Familiarity with healthcare documentation standards, patient confidentiality requirements, and relevant data protection regulations.
- Strong attention to detail, organizational skills, and the ability to prioritize multiple transcription tasks under tight deadlines.
- Effective communication skills for clarifying dictations, collaborating with clinical staff, and guiding junior team members.
- Relevant certification or diploma in medical transcription or healthcare documentation; a background in healthcare or life sciences is an advantage.
