20 Job Title: Azure Data Engineer – Power BI Job Summary We are looking for an experienced Azure Data Engineer with strong expertise in Microsoft Azure data services and Power BI. The candidate will be responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining scalable data pipelines, implementing ETL processes, managing data integration, and creating interactive Power BI dashboards and reports to support business intelligence and analytics.

Key Responsibilities

- Design, develop, and maintain data pipelines using Azure Data Factory.
- Build and manage ETL/ELT workflows for data integration.
- Work with Azure Data Lake Storage and Azure Synapse Analytics.
- Develop and optimize SQL queries and data models.
- Create interactive dashboards and reports using Power BI.
- Develop Power BI datasets, semantic models, and DAX calculations.
- Implement data transformation using SQL, Python, or PySpark.
- Ensure data quality, accuracy, and consistency.
- Optimize data processing and reporting performance.
- Implement data security, access controls, and governance.
- Collaborate with business analysts and stakeholders to understand reporting requirements. Required Technical Skills




- Strong experience in Microsoft Azure data engineering services.
- Hands-on experience with Azure Data Factory (ADF).
- Knowledge of Azure Data Lake Storage (ADLS).
- Experience with Azure Synapse Analytics.
- Solid SQL and database concepts.
- Experience in ETL/ELT development.
- Hands-on experience with Power BI dashboards and reports.
- Good knowledge of DAX, Power Query, and data modeling.
- Experience with Python or PySpark.
- Understanding of data warehousing and dimensional modeling.
- Knowledge of Azure security and data governance. Preferred Skills
- Experience with Azure Databricks.
- Knowledge of Microsoft Fabric.
- Experience with Delta Lake and Spark.
- Familiarity with Azure DevOps and CI/CD pipelines.
- Knowledge of incremental data loading and performance optimization.
- Experience integrating multiple data sources.

Education:
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
