At Avelyn, we're building a premium patisserie and experiential coffee destination where every detail matters — from the quality of our pastries to the coffee in your cup.

We're looking for a passionate and experienced Head Barista who understands specialty coffee, takes pride in their craft, and can lead our coffee programme while creating an exceptional experience for every guest.

Key Responsibilities

1. Coffee Operations & Quality

- Take complete ownership of day-to-day coffee operations.
- Prepare consistently high-quality espresso-based beverages, including cappuccino, latte, flat white, americano and other specialty drinks.
- Understand espresso extraction, grinder calibration, dose, yield, brew ratios and shot timing.
- Ensure consistency in coffee quality, milk texturing, temperature and presentation.
- Have hands-on experience with skilled espresso machines and coffee grinders.

2. Beverage Development

- Contribute to developing an interesting and differentiated coffee menu.
- Experiment with specialty coffee, cold brews, signature beverages, matcha and seasonal drinks.
- Work on beverage pairings that complement Avelyn's patisserie and savoury offerings.
- Maintain standardised recipes and beverage specifications.

3. Team Management & Training

- Lead, train and mentor the barista team.
- Establish standard operating procedures for coffee preparation and service.




- Ensure consistency in beverage preparation across shifts.
- Build a culture of attention to detail, cleanliness and hospitality.

4. Inventory & Operations

- Manage coffee beans, milk, syrups and other beverage ingredients.
- Monitor inventory, consumption and wastage.
- Coordinate with coffee roasters and suppliers.
- Ensure proper cleaning, maintenance and upkeep of coffee equipment.

5. Customer Experience

- Create a welcoming and engaging coffee experience for guests.
- Understand customer preferences and make thoughtful recommendations.
- Maintain high standards of service, presentation and hospitality.

What We're Looking For

- 3–5 years of experience in the coffee industry, preferably in specialty coffee.
- Previous experience as a Senior Barista or Head Barista.
- Strong understanding of espresso extraction, brewing techniques and milk texturing.
- Experience operating commercial espresso machines and grinders.
- Knowledge of specialty coffee beans, origins, roast profiles and brewing methods.
- Passion for experimenting with new beverages and developing coffee menus.
- Strong leadership, communication and team management skills.
- An eye for detail and a genuine interest in delivering quality.

- Location: Jaipur, Rajasthan
- Experience: 3–5 years

Pay: ₹20,000.00 - ₹30,000.00 per month
