Job Title: Insurance Operations Specialist / Executive (Health & General Insurance)

Job Summary

We are seeking a detail-oriented, highly organized, and client-focused Insurance Operations Specialist to join our team. In this role, you will manage end-to-end processing, client advisory, and portfolio management for both Health Insurance (mediclaim, critical illness, corporate health policies) and General Insurance (motor, property, travel, and commercial lines). You will serve as the primary bridge between our clients and insurance underwriters, ensuring seamless policy issuance, timely renewals, and hassle-free claims management.Key Responsibilities1. Product Advisory & Policy Issuance

- Analyze client needs: Assess individual and corporate risk profiles to recommend optimal Health and General Insurance coverage.
- Generate quotes: Coordinate with multiple insurance companies to fetch, compare, and present competitive quotes.
- Process applications: Fill out, verify, and log proposal forms ensuring zero errors before submission to underwriters.

2. Portfolio & Renewal Management

- Track renewals: Proactively monitor the database for expiring Health and General Insurance policies.
- Retention: Engage with clients 30 to 45 days prior to expiry to review current coverage, suggest adjustments, and secure timely renewals.

3. Claims Assistance & Support

- Handhold claims processes:



Guide clients through the documentation required for both cashless and reimbursement Health insurance claims.
- General lines claims: Coordinate surveys and documentation for motor accidents, property damage, or marine/travel losses.
- Liaison: Coordinate directly with Third-Party Administrators (TPAs) and insurance companies to expedite claim settlements.

4. Operations & Compliance

- Documentation: Maintain absolute confidentiality and accurate digital records of all customer files, policies, and endorsements.
- Compliance: Ensure all sales and operational workflows strictly adhere to insurance regulatory guidelines (e.g., IRDAI standards).

Required Skills & Qualifications

- Experience: 1–3 years of experience in insurance operations, broking, or agency management (handling both Health and GI is highly preferred).
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in Business, Commerce, Finance, or a related field. Professional certifications (like Licentiate/Associate from the Insurance Institute of India) are a big plus.
- Technical Skills: Proficiency in MS Excel (for comparing quotes) and familiarity with insurance portals or CRM software.
- Communication: Strong verbal and written communication skills to explain complex policy clauses in straightforward terms to clients.
- Problem-Solving: Empathy and patience when dealing with clients facing stressful situations like medical emergencies or property damage claims.

Pay: ₹10,000.00 - ₹30,000.00 per month
