Job Summary

We are looking for an experienced Maintenance Manager for our Chocolate Manufacturing Division at Jammu. The candidate will be responsible for ensuring the smooth functioning of all plant machinery, equipment, utilities, and maintenance operations. The role requires solid technical knowledge of chocolate manufacturing equipment, preventive maintenance, breakdown management, and team handling.

Key Responsibilities

- Manage overall maintenance activities of the chocolate manufacturing plant.

- Ensure preventive, predictive, and breakdown maintenance of all production machinery.

- Handle maintenance of chocolate processing equipment such as mixers, melters, refiners, conches, tempering machines, moulding lines, enrobing machines, cooling tunnels, and packaging machines.

- Ensure maximum machine availability and minimum production downtime.

- Monitor and maintain utilities such as boilers, compressors, chillers, cooling towers, HVAC, and electrical systems.

- Develop and implement preventive maintenance schedules.





- Identify root causes of equipment failures and implement corrective actions.

- Manage spare parts inventory and maintenance budgets.

- Ensure compliance with safety standards, food safety requirements, and statutory regulations.

- Coordinate with Production, Quality, and Engineering teams for smooth plant operations.

- Lead, train, and develop the maintenance team.

Candidate Requirements

- Qualification: B.E./B.Tech/Diploma in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering.

- Experience: 10–15 years of experience in plant maintenance, preferably in the Food Processing, FMCG, or Chocolate Manufacturing industry.

- Strong knowledge of mechanical, electrical, and utility maintenance.

- Experience in handling automated production and packaging lines.

- Good understanding of preventive and predictive maintenance practices.

- Strong troubleshooting, leadership, and team management skills.

Preferred Candidate Profile

Candidates with experience in chocolate, confectionery, bakery, or FMCG manufacturing plants will be preferred.
