Job Summary

We are looking for an experienced and technically skilled Mechanical Engineer with a minimum of 2 years of experience in wood working and wood finishing machines. The candidate will be responsible for machine installation, commissioning, troubleshooting, maintenance, and after-sales technical support at customer sites across India.

Key Responsibilities

- Install, commission, and maintain wood working and wood finishing machinery at customer locations across India.
- Diagnose and troubleshoot mechanical, electrical, pneumatic, and machine-operational issues.
- Conduct machine servicing, preventive maintenance, and breakdown repairs.
- Provide technical support and practical machine-operation training to customers.
- Handle machine demonstrations and support the sales team during technical discussions, when required.
- Coordinate with customers to ensure timely resolution of technical complaints.
- Prepare and submit installation reports,



service reports, and maintenance records.
- Identify spare parts requirements and coordinate with the office team for availability.
- Travel across India as per customer installation and service requirements.
- Maintain skilled communication with customers and follow company service procedures.

Required Skills & Qualifications

- Diploma or Degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related technical field.
- Minimum 2 years of hands-on experience in wood working and wood finishing machinery.
- Practical knowledge of machine installation, commissioning, servicing, and troubleshooting.
- Familiarity with motors, gearboxes, bearings, pneumatic systems, and machine mechanisms.
- Basic understanding of electrical systems, sensors, VFDs, and PLCs will be an advantage.
- Strong problem-solving and customer-handling skills.
- Willingness to travel Pan India, including overnight and outstation visits as required.
- Ability to work independently at customer sites and coordinate with the office team.
