A Business Development Associate (BDA) is an entry-level qualified who connects companies with potential clients, generates sales leads, and drives early-stage revenue growth. Core Roles and Responsibilities • Lead Generation & Prospecting: Hunt for fresh business opportunities through cold calling, email outreach, social platforms like LinkedIn, and networking. • Lead Qualification: Evaluate prospective clients based on their budget, needs, and decision-making power to determine if they fit the pipeline. • Client Engagement & Outreach: Run initial discovery calls, conduct product or service demos, and pitch the company's offerings to prospective customers. • CRM & Data Hygiene: Maintain accurate records of client interactions, calls, and pipeline stages inside CRM tools like Salesforce or HubSpot. • Handover & Sales Support: Pass warm, qualified prospects or booked appointments to senior sales reps, Account Executives, or Business Development Managers (BDMs). • Market Research:



Analyze competitor activity, industry trends, and target customer segments to spot new growth angles. • Performance Tracking: Monitor daily/weekly KPIs—such as call volumes, conversion ratios, and response rates—to hit monthly targets. Required Skills • Communication: Clear, confident phone voice and strong written English for emails. • CRM Proficiency: Basic familiarity with tools like Salesforce, HubSpot, or specialized tracking sheets. • Data & Tools: Working knowledge of Excel or Google Sheets for pipeline reporting. • Resilience: High hustle and persistence to handle rejection during cold outreach.
