Qualification: Diploma in Tool & Die Making from NTTF, CIPET, IGTR, CTTC, or any government-recognized institute.

Job Summary

Responsible for mould maintenance, repair, troubleshooting and improvement of precision moulds used in rubber and plastic injection, compression and transfer moulding processes, ensuring minimum production downtime and adherence to quality and safety standards.

Key Responsibilities

- Perform preventive, predictive and breakdown maintenance of moulds.
- Carry out mould dismantling, assembly, fitting, polishing, vent cleaning and dimensional inspection.
- Troubleshoot mould-related defects such as flash, short moulding, leakage, mismatch and dimensional issues.
- Execute mould modifications and engineering changes as required.
- Support mould trials, validation activities and new product development.
- Operate conventional tool room machines such as lathe, milling, surface grinder and drilling machines.
- Use precision measuring instruments and interpret engineering drawings and GD&T.;
- Maintain mould history cards, preventive maintenance records and spare parts inventory.
- Coordinate with Production, Quality,



R&D; and Maintenance teams to resolve mould-related issues.
- Participate in root cause analysis (RCA), CAPA and continuous improvement activities.
- Ensure compliance with 5S, EHS, GMP, ISO 13485:2016 and ISO 15378:2017 requirements.

Required Skills

- Hands-on experience in mould maintenance and repair.
- Knowledge of rubber and plastic injection, compression and transfer moulds.
- Basic to intermediate knowledge of Siemens NX (UG NX).
- Knowledge of conventional tool room machines and precision measuring instruments.
- Understanding of preventive maintenance, RCA and CAPA.
- Knowledge of Positive Documentation Practices (GDP) and cleanroom requirements.

Preferred Industry

Medical Devices, Pharmaceutical Packaging, Rubber Manufacturing, Plastic Injection Moulding or Healthcare Products.

Pay: ₹300,000.00 - ₹500,000.00 per year
