About the Role
We are looking for a professional and interactive Cinematographer who can shoot independently and also edit the footage. You will plan and shoot scenes on your own, guide the people in front of the camera on poses and shots, and edit the final video.
Key Responsibilities
- Shoot professional-quality video independently, without needing a guide or supervisor on set
- Plan the shots, angles and framing for each scene
- Explain the poses, movements and shots clearly to employees and other people appearing on camera
- Guide people who are not used to being on camera, so they feel comfortable and perform well
- Edit the shot scenes into finished videos
- Manage the whole process from shooting to the final edited output
- Handle camera, lighting and equipment during shoots
Required Skills and Qualifications
- Proven experience in skilled video shooting and cinematography
- Ability to shoot independently, with no help or guidance
- Good editing knowledge, with the ability to edit your own footage (for example in Premiere Pro, DaVinci Resolve or Final Cut Pro)
- Strong communication skills and the confidence to direct people on camera
- Good sense of framing, lighting, composition and storytelling
- An interactive, friendly personality who can work well with employees and other team members
- A portfolio or showreel of your previous work
