*Job Title:** Chartered Accountant – Accounts, Systems & MIS

**Location:** Sharjah, UAE

**About the Role**

We are looking for a qualified Chartered Accountant who is hands-on with accounting and equally strong in building systems and management reporting. The role will own the accounting function at the location, strengthen controls and processes, and give management accurate, timely insight to run the business.

**Key Responsibilities**

- Design and maintain a robust accounting structure: chart of accounts, internal controls, approval matrices and documentation

- Oversee end-to-end accounting: books of accounts, reconciliations, accruals, provisions and timely month-end and year-end closing

- Prepare monthly MIS for management: P&L;, balance sheet, cash flow, budget vs. actual, cost and profitability analysis

- Review and improve accounting systems and ERP usage; standardise reporting formats and automate where possible

- Monitor working capital, receivables, payables and cash flow; flag risks early

- Ensure full compliance with UAE VAT and Corporate Tax, including filings, records and advisory support

- Lead coordination with external auditors and manage year-end finalisation

- Oversee inventory,



costing and fixed asset records

- Support budgeting, forecasting and management decision-making with financial analysis

- Guide and review the work of junior accounts staff

**Qualifications**

- Qualified Chartered Accountant (ICAI or equivalent) – **mandatory**

- B.Com or equivalent degree

**Experience & Skills**

- 2–6 years of post-qualification experience, preferably in trading, manufacturing or SME environments

- Strong command of IFRS and accounting principles

- Working knowledge of UAE VAT and Corporate Tax (GCC experience preferred)

- Proficiency in accounting/ERP software (Tally, Zoho Books, QuickBooks, SAP or similar) and advanced Excel

- Proven ability to set up systems and controls, not just operate them

- Clear communication in English; Hindi is an added advantage
