Printsy is an Australian startup in the 3D printing industry, focused on developing premium-quality 3D printing filaments and a growing library of original 3D printable models for makers, creators, and businesses worldwide.

We're looking for a Shopify Developer & Web Application Developer who can take ownership of Shopify customisation, custom app development, and internal web applications. This role is ideal for someone who enjoys solving technical problems, building custom features, and developing practical tools that improve our e-commerce experience and business operations.

Responsibilities

- Develop and customise our Shopify storefront, including themes, layouts, templates, and interactive features.
- Write custom Shopify Liquid code, HTML, CSS, and JavaScript to build new functionality and improve existing features.
- Create custom Shopify sections, snippets, product pages, collection layouts, and cart experiences.
- Develop custom Shopify apps and integrate third-party services using APIs and webhooks.
- Build advanced e-commerce features such as product bundles, preorder systems, discount logic, cart validation, and custom shopping experiences.
- Develop and maintain internal web applications, dashboards, and tools for inventory, order management, warehouse operations, and other business workflows.
- Build responsive web applications using frameworks such as React and Next.js, with appropriate backend and database integrations.
- Troubleshoot bugs, improve website performance, and ensure new features work reliably across devices.




- Translate UI/UX designs and business requirements into functional, user-friendly interfaces.
- Identify opportunities to automate repetitive tasks and improve existing systems.
- Use AI-assisted development tools to accelerate coding, debugging, and prototyping while ensuring code quality.

Shopify & E-commerce Development Skills

- Strong knowledge of Shopify theme development and customisation.
- Proficiency in Shopify Liquid, including sections, snippets, templates, filters, objects, and theme settings.
- Strong understanding of HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and responsive web design.
- Experience working with Shopify metafields, metaobjects, product variants, collections, and cart functionality.
- Familiarity with Shopify Admin API, Storefront API, webhooks, and third-party app integrations.
- Ability to develop custom storefront features beyond standard theme and app capabilities.

Custom App & Web Development Skills

- Experience building custom web applications, dashboards, or internal business tools.
- Familiarity with React, Next.js, TypeScript, or similar modern web technologies.
- Understanding of backend development, REST APIs or GraphQL, and database integration.
- Experience with platforms such as Supabase, PostgreSQL, or similar technologies is an advantage.
- Ability to build interactive interfaces, search and filtering tools, data tables,



and workflow automation.
- Familiarity with Git, deployment, debugging, and software testing.

What We're Looking For

We're looking for a developer who can work independently, understand business requirements, and deliver practical solutions with minimal supervision. You should be comfortable working across Shopify, custom applications, and modern web technologies, with a focus on clean code, performance, and maintainability.

Experience with shipping APIs, inventory systems, e-commerce automation, Shopify Functions, or custom checkout features is an advantage.

Contract Details

- Duration: Initial 1-month contract.
- Compensation: ₹40,000 for the initial contract period.
- Extension: Possible based on performance, project progress, and business requirements.
- Work Arrangement: Fully remote.
