About ClusterHR

ClusterHR is a comprehensive HRMS platform designed to simplify and automate HR operations, including employee management, attendance, leave, payroll, recruitment, performance management, and employee engagement.

We are looking for a motivated Backend Developer Intern to join our development team and contribute to building scalable, secure, and efficient backend services for our HRMS platform.

Roles & Responsibilities

- Develop, maintain, and enhance backend APIs and services for the ClusterHR platform.
- Work with the development team to implement new features and improve existing functionalities.
- Design, develop, and maintain RESTful APIs.
- Write clean, efficient, reusable, and well-documented code.
- Work with databases to design schemas, write queries, and optimize performance.
- Assist in implementing business logic for HRMS modules such as Employee Management, Attendance, Leave, and Payroll.
- Identify, troubleshoot, and resolve bugs and technical issues.
- Participate in code reviews, testing, and debugging activities.
- Ensure data security, validation, and application performance.
- Collaborate with frontend developers, QA engineers, and product teams.

Required Skills

- Basic knowledge of backend programming languages such as Node.js, Python, Java, or PHP.
- Understanding of REST APIs and backend application development.




- Basic knowledge of SQL databases such as MySQL or PostgreSQL.
- Familiarity with Git and version control.
- Understanding of object-oriented programming concepts.
- Basic knowledge of authentication, authorization, and API security.
- Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.
- Willingness to learn new technologies and work in a team workplace.

Preferred Skills

- Hands-on experience with Node.js and Express.js.
- Knowledge of MongoDB or PostgreSQL.
- Familiarity with JWT authentication.
- Understanding of cloud platforms such as AWS.
- Exposure to HRMS, ERP, or SaaS application development.

Eligibility

- Pursuing or recently completed a degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
- Freshers with relevant technical knowledge and project experience are encouraged to apply.
- Candidates with personal projects, academic projects, or GitHub contributions will be preferred.
