Job Summary

One Doorway International is looking for a skilled and result-oriented Australia Migration Consultant to join our team at our Kochi office.

The ideal candidate should have a minimum of one year of experience in Australian migration consultancy, client counselling, and sales, with a strong understanding of skilled migration pathways for professionals in Engineering, Information Technology (IT), Pharmacy, Nursing, and Healthcare.

The candidate must possess up-to-date knowledge of Australian immigration rules, visa subclasses, skills assessment procedures, and applicable professional registration requirements. The role involves evaluating client profiles, recommending suitable migration pathways, managing prospective clients, and converting qualified leads into successful engagements.

We are looking for a proactive professional with excellent communication, consultation, and sales skills who can contribute to the growth of our Australian migration services.

Key Responsibilities

- Counsel and advise prospective clients interested in migrating to Australia through relevant skilled migration and employer-sponsored pathways.
- Handle client consultations for professionals in Engineering, IT, Pharmacy, Nursing, and Healthcare.
- Evaluate clients' educational qualifications, work experience, skills assessment status, professional registrations, and other relevant eligibility criteria.




- Identify suitable Australian migration pathways based on individual client profiles and current immigration requirements.
- Maintain updated knowledge of Australian skilled migration visa subclasses, including Subclass 189, 190, and 491, employer-sponsored visas, and other relevant pathways.
- Understand the skills assessment requirements of relevant Australian assessing authorities and the professional registration requirements applicable to different occupations.
- Explain migration procedures, eligibility criteria, documentation requirements, timelines, and service charges to prospective clients.
- Manage leads generated through digital marketing campaigns, referrals, and other business development channels.
- Conduct consultations, follow up with prospective clients, address enquiries, and convert qualified leads into clients.
- Achieve individual sales targets and contribute to the overall growth of the migration department.
- Maintain accurate client information, consultation records, and follow-up schedules in the company's CRM.
- Coordinate with internal documentation teams and appropriately authorised migration professionals to facilitate client cases.
- Monitor changes in Australian immigration policies, occupation requirements, invitation rounds, skills assessments, and professional registration procedures.

Required Qualifications and Experience

- Minimum 1 year of relevant experience as migration consultant, preferably involving client counselling and sales.
- Good understanding of Australian skilled migration programs, visa eligibility criteria, and application procedures (Preferable)
- Experience handling consultations for skilled professionals, particularly engineers,



IT professionals, pharmacists, nurses, and healthcare workers.
- Knowledge of occupational skills assessments, professional registration requirements, and relevant assessing authorities.
- Strong client relationship management, negotiation, lead conversion, and follow-up skills.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Ability to assess client profiles, identify potential migration pathways, and explain requirements clearly.
- Ability to work independently, manage multiple client enquiries, and meet assigned targets.

Preferred Skills

- Previous experience in Australian Permanent Residency (PR) consultation and skilled migration.
- Experience handling leads from digital marketing campaigns and converting enquiries into paid consultancy engagements.
- Understanding of sales pipelines, client follow-up processes, and conversion metrics.
- A customer-focused, ethical, and target-oriented approach to consultancy.
