To lead packaging development, innovation, design, standardization and execution across the organization. The role will be responsible for developing cost-effective, innovative and sustainable packaging solutions while ensuring product protection, quality, regulatory compliance and manufacturing efficiency.

A. Packaging Development & Innovation

- Lead the development of primary, secondary and tertiary packaging materials.
- Develop innovative packaging solutions aligned with product requirements and market trends.
- Evaluate packaging materials, structures, designs and specifications.
- Drive packaging innovation, functionality and sustainability initiatives.
- Coordinate new product launches and packaging modifications.

B. Packaging Design & Artwork Management

- Oversee packaging design, artwork development and approvals.
- Ensure packaging designs align with brand guidelines and marketing requirements.
- Coordinate with marketing, design agencies and external vendors for artwork finalization.
- Ensure accuracy of product information, labelling, barcodes and statutory declarations.

C. Vendor & Cost Management

- Identify, evaluate and develop packaging material suppliers.
- Negotiate with vendors to achieve cost optimization without compromising quality.




- Monitor packaging material costs and implement cost-reduction initiatives.
- Develop alternate packaging sources and ensure supply continuity.

D. Quality & Compliance

- Establish packaging quality standards and specifications.
- Conduct packaging material testing, validation and performance evaluation.
- Ensure compliance with applicable packaging regulations and industry standards.
- Coordinate with Quality Assurance, Production and R&D; teams to resolve packaging-related issues.

E. Manufacturing & Operational Coordination

- Conduct packaging trials and line validations at manufacturing facilities.
- Improve packaging line efficiency and minimize material wastage.
- Resolve packaging-related production challenges and customer complaints.
- Work closely with Production, Procurement, Quality, R&D; and Supply Chain teams.

F. Sustainability & Process Improvement

- Explore recyclable, reusable and eco-friendly packaging alternatives.
- Drive lightweighting and packaging material optimization.
- Implement standardization of packaging materials across product categories.
- Monitor industry trends and emerging packaging technologies.

Pay: ₹900,000.00 - ₹1,250,000.00 per year
