Berkeley Hyundai is looking for an experienced and result-oriented Insurance Manager to manage and grow the dealership’s insurance business. The ideal candidate should have strong knowledge of motor insurance, policy issuance, renewals, claims, customer handling, and insurance operations.

Key Responsibilities

- Manage the overall motor insurance business of the dealership.
- Drive insurance sales and achieve monthly business and revenue targets.
- Coordinate with customers regarding new vehicle insurance, renewals, endorsements, and policy requirements.
- Explain insurance plans, coverage, premiums, add-ons, and terms clearly to customers.
- Coordinate with insurance companies and their representatives for smooth policy processing.
- Ensure timely issuance and delivery of insurance policies.
- Manage insurance renewals and generate business from existing customers.
- Coordinate with the Sales and Delivery teams to ensure insurance is completed before vehicle delivery.
- Assist customers with the insurance claim process and coordinate with insurers/surveyors when required.
- Monitor pending policies, renewals, payments, and claims.
- Maintain accurate insurance records and prepare daily/monthly MIS reports.
- Ensure compliance with company and insurance-related processes.




- Train and guide the insurance sales team to improve productivity and conversion.
- Build solid relationships with customers and insurance partners.

Candidate Requirements

- 1–6 years of relevant experience in motor insurance, automobile dealership insurance, or a similar role.
- Experience in an automobile dealership will be highly preferred.
- Strong knowledge of motor insurance products, renewals, claims, and policy processes.
- Valuable understanding of insurance add-ons and customer requirements.
- Solid sales, negotiation, and customer-handling skills.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Target-oriented with strong leadership and team-management abilities.
- Good working knowledge of MS Office/Excel and insurance or dealership systems.
- Ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines.
