HORIZON LUMORA PRIVATE LIMITED is a growing startup with a team of 15 people. We create videos for our YouTube channels and social media pages, covering technology, business, company stories and industry developments.
We are looking for a Short Form Video Editor who can create engaging YouTube Shorts and Instagram Reels. The role includes editing complete videos and adding motion graphics that make the content clear and interesting.

ABOUT THE ROLE

You will turn scripts, voice-overs and footage into complete short videos about business and technology. You should know how to catch attention at the beginning, keep viewers interested and use animation to explain ideas.

JOB DETAILS

- Location: Bengaluru, Karnataka
- Job type: Full-time, work from office
- Working days: Monday to Saturday
- Weekly day off: Sunday
- Salary: ₹15,000–₹40,000 per month
- Experience: At least 1 year of professional video-editing experience

The final salary will depend on your experience, portfolio and editing skills. Please apply only if you can work from our Bengaluru office six days per week.

RESPONSIBILITIES

- Edit YouTube Shorts and Instagram Reels in vertical 9:16 format.
- Turn scripts, voice-overs and raw footage into complete videos.
- Create strong openings and maintain engaging pacing throughout each video.
- Add motion graphics, including animated text, images, icons, logos, charts and simple diagrams.
- Use motion graphics to explain business and technology topics clearly.
- Add accurate, readable English captions.
- Select suitable footage, screenshots, images and graphics to support the story.
- Add music and sound effects that suit the content.
- Adjust colours and balance audio for a consistent, professional result.
- Work closely with the content team and complete revisions on time.




- Keep project files organised and follow copyright and licensing requirements.

REQUIRED SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE

- At least 1 year of professional video-editing experience.
- Experience editing YouTube Shorts, Instagram Reels or similar short videos.
- Practical experience creating motion graphics in Adobe After Effects.
- Good working knowledge of Adobe Premiere Pro or DaVinci Resolve for video editing.
- Ability to animate text, images and graphics smoothly using keyframes.
- Positive understanding of opening hooks, pacing, captions, sound design and visual storytelling.
- Ability to understand English scripts and create accurate captions.
- Ability to follow feedback and complete work within deadlines.
- A portfolio showing both short-form editing and motion graphics is required.

PREFERRED SKILLS

- Experience editing business and technology content.
- Ability to create animated charts, timelines and comparisons.
- Ability to combine footage, images and animation into a clear visual story.
- Understanding of what keeps viewers interested in YouTube Shorts and Instagram Reels.

Pay: ₹15,000.00 - ₹40,000.00 per month
