Job Title: Room Attendant (Housekeeping)

About the RoleWe are looking for a dedicated and detail-oriented Room Attendant to join our Housekeeping team at Raga on the Ganges. In this role, you will play a key part in delivering an exceptional stay for our guests by maintaining high standards of cleanliness, hygiene, and comfort across all guest rooms and resort areas. Candidates with versatile skill sets who can also assist in Food & Beverage (F&B;) service or basic food prep are encouraged to apply.
Key Responsibilities

- Housekeeping & Room Upkeep:

- Clean, sanitize, and prepare guest rooms, cottages, and suites according to resort standards.

- Change bed linen, make beds neatly, and replenish towels and bathroom amenities.

- Sweep, mop, dust, and vacuum rooms, balconies, and common guest pathways.

- Inspect room fixtures, appliances, and lighting, reporting any maintenance issues or damage to the supervisor immediately.

- Handle guest requests (e.g., extra pillows, blankets, toiletries) promptly and courteously.

- F&B; / Kitchen Support (Cross-Functional):

- Assist the Food & Beverage / Kitchen team during peak service hours or guest events, if required.





- Help with basic food service, table setup, clearing, and maintaining dining area cleanliness.

- Inventory & Laundry Handling:

- Collect dirty linen and uniforms and send them to the laundry section.

- Keep housekeeping trolleys, linen closets, and storage areas clean, organized, and adequately stocked.

Requirements & Qualifications

- Experience: Prior experience as a Room Attendant, Housekeeping Assistant, or Helper in a resort or hotel setting is preferred (freshers with relevant hospitality training are welcome).

- Skills: Knowledge of basic cleaning techniques, sanitation standards, and room arrangement.

- Flexibility: Willingness to assist in F&B; / restaurant operations when needed.

- Attributes: Strong work ethic, attention to detail, punctuality, and a guest-friendly attitude.
