- Supervise and manage the overall functioning of the nursing department.
- Ensure quality nursing care and patient safety across all hospital departments.
- Prepare, monitor and approve nursing staff duty rosters and shift allocations.
- Ensure adequate nursing manpower in all departments.
- Monitor staff attendance, punctuality, discipline and performance.
- Coordinate recruitment, induction and training of nursing staff.
- Ensure proper implementation of nursing protocols and clinical procedures.
- Monitor medication administration, patient monitoring and nursing documentation.
- Ensure proper shift handover and takeover procedures.
- Conduct regular nursing rounds, departmental inspections and audits.
- Ensure compliance with NABH standards, hospital policies and statutory requirements.
- Monitor infection control practices and biomedical waste segregation.




- Address patient complaints and nursing-related grievances.
- Conduct regular training programmes and competency assessments for nursing staff.
- Coordinate with consultants, doctors and other department heads for smooth hospital operations.
- Ensure proper maintenance of nursing records, registers and reports.
- Identify nursing department requirements and report manpower or operational issues to management.
- Conduct regular departmental meetings and review nursing performance.
- Ensure adherence to skilled ethics, patient confidentiality and hospital discipline.
- Submit periodic departmental performance reports to hospital management.

Pay: ₹20,000.00 - ₹30,000.00 per month
