Job Summary

We are looking for an experienced Desktop Support Engineer to provide onsite IT

support, troubleshoot hardware and software issues, and maintain desktop, laptop,

and network connectivity for end users. The candidate should have strong hands-on

technical experience in desktop support and IT infrastructure maintenance.

Roles and Responsibilities

- Provide onsite desktop and laptop support, including installation, configuration,

troubleshooting, and maintenance.

- Diagnose and resolve hardware issues involving desktops, laptops, monitors,

keyboards, printers, and other peripherals.

- Install, configure, and troubleshoot Windows operating systems, drivers,

applications, and software.

- Perform hardware replacements, upgrades, preventive maintenance, and

system performance checks.

- Troubleshoot LAN connectivity, IP configuration, network access, and basic

networking issues.

- Support LAN cables, network ports, switches, and connectivity troubleshooting

as required.

- Configure and maintain printers, scanners, and other IT peripherals.
- Provide technical assistance to end users and resolve IT-related incidents within

agreed timelines.

- Maintain IT asset records, service tickets, troubleshooting reports, and technical

documentation.





- Coordinate with internal IT teams and vendors to resolve escalated technical

issues.

- Ensure systems comply with company IT policies, antivirus requirements, and

security updates.

Required Skills

- Solid hands-on knowledge of desktop and laptop hardware troubleshooting.
- Practical experience in Windows installation, configuration, and

troubleshooting.

- Working knowledge of LAN networking, IP addressing, and connectivity

troubleshooting.

- Experience with printers, peripherals, hardware replacement, and preventive

maintenance.

- Good problem-solving, communication, and end-user support skills.
- Ability to work independently at the client site as a Resident Engineer.

Eligibility Criteria

- Minimum 4 years of relevant experience in Desktop Support / IT Support.
- Previous experience working as a Resident Engineer is preferred.
- Qualification must be BCA, B.Sc. (IT), Diploma in IT/Computer Engineering, or

B.E. (IT).

- Candidates must have practical hands-on hardware and networking experience.
- Candidates with only remote support experience and limited practical hardware

exposure may not be suitable.

Pay: ₹25,000.00 - ₹30,000.00 per month
