Job Summary

We are looking for a skilled Boiler Operator to operate, monitor, and maintain boiler systems to ensure uninterrupted steam supply and safe boiler operations. The candidate will be responsible for monitoring boiler parameters, maintaining operating records, ensuring equipment efficiency, and following statutory safety requirements.

Key Responsibilities

- Operate and monitor boiler systems as per standard operating procedures (SOPs).
- Monitor boiler pressure, temperature, water level, steam pressure, and other operating parameters.
- Ensure proper functioning of boiler accessories, pumps, valves, feed water systems, and other related equipment.
- Monitor fuel consumption, water treatment, and boiler efficiency.
- Conduct routine inspections and identify abnormal operating conditions.
- Maintain boiler logbooks, operating records, and shift-wise reports.
- Perform routine cleaning and basic preventive maintenance of boiler equipment.
- Coordinate with the Maintenance team during breakdowns and repair activities.
- Ensure proper water quality and chemical dosing as per prescribed standards.




- Follow boiler safety procedures and statutory requirements.
- Ensure proper use of PPE and maintain housekeeping around the boiler area.
- Immediately report equipment abnormalities, leakage, pressure fluctuations, and safety concerns to the concerned supervisor.
- Ensure safe boiler start-up, shutdown, and emergency handling procedures.

Required Skills

- Practical knowledge of boiler operation and boiler accessories.
- Understanding of boiler pressure, temperature, water level, and steam generation.
- Knowledge of boiler feed water treatment and chemical dosing.
- Ability to identify operational faults and equipment abnormalities.
- Knowledge of boiler safety procedures and emergency handling.
- Basic maintenance and troubleshooting skills.
- Valuable communication and shift-handling skills.

Eligibility Criteria

- ITI / Diploma in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering preferred.
- 2–6 years of hands-on experience in boiler operations in manufacturing or process industries.
- Candidates with experience in industrial boiler operation will be preferred.
- Valid Boiler Operation Engineer / Boiler Attendant competency certificate, wherever applicable, as per statutory requirements.
- Willingness to work in rotational shifts.

Pay: ₹25,000.00 - ₹35,000.00 per month
