Job Description: Student Counselor / Academic Advisor

Position Summary

As a Student Counselor / Academic Counselor, you are the primary point of contact for medical, physiotherapy, AYUSH, and healthcare professionals interested in professional development certifications, fellowships, and CPD programs. Your role combines academic guidance, lead conversion, relationship management, and onboarding support to help healthcare practitioners choose the right learning pathway.

Key Responsibilities

1. Lead Management & Tele-Counselling

* Follow up on inbound inquiries (calls, website leads, WhatsApp messages, and emails) from medical doctors, physiotherapy students, and healthcare practitioners.

* Understand candidate backgrounds (e.g., BPT, MPT, MBBS, AYUSH, Nursing) and map them to eligible diploma, fellowship, or CPD-accredited certificate programs.

* Explain course details, clinical skill relevance, curriculum depth, fee structures, installment/EMI plans, and certification/accreditation details (e.g., IAOTH UK, Virtued Eduversity London).

2. Admissions & Student Onboarding

* Guide prospective students through registration, document verification, payment links, and zero-cost EMI setups.

* Assist enrolled students with portal access, orientation details, learning resources, and community membership setups.

* Address student queries regarding course access, Q&A; support, certification timelines, and clinical observership options.

3. Sales & Target Achievement





* Drive monthly and quarterly enrollment goals via systematic lead conversion strategies.

* Maintain explicit logs of lead interactions, status updates, and follow-up schedules in the internal CRM system.

* Re-engage past leads or alumni for advanced fellowship tracks or complementary specialty programs.

4. Student Relationship & Support

* Serve as a mentor throughout the student's learning journey, resolving non-academic queries promptly.

* Coordinate with internal academic/technical teams for any course access issues or student escalations.

* Gather feedback, testimonials, and referrals from satisfied students.

Key Qualifications & Skills

* Education: Bachelor’s degree in any discipline (B.Sc, BBA, BA, B.Pharm, BPT, or Allied Health degrees preferred).

* Experience: 1–3 years of experience in academic counselling, inside sales, tele-calling, or student advisory roles (preferably within EdTech, medical, or healthcare education sectors).

* Communication: Strong spoken and written skills in English and Hindi (additional regional or foreign language skills are a plus for international leads).

* Soft Skills: Active listening, persuasive negotiation, high empathy, structured follow-up discipline, and a consultative sales mindset.

* Technical Skills: Familiarity with CRM tools, WhatsApp Business, Google Workspace, and online payment/EMI processing systems.

Pay: ₹25,000.00 - ₹30,000.00 per month
