Job Summary

We are looking for a technically proficient and detail-oriented Structural Engineer to join our team. The candidate will be responsible for structural analysis, design, preparation of structural drawings, and coordination with architects, civil engineers, contractors, and site execution teams.

The ideal candidate should have a sound understanding of reinforced cement concrete (RCC) design, structural analysis, foundation design, building codes, and structural engineering software. Experience in residential and commercial building projects will be an advantage.

Key Responsibilities

- Perform structural analysis and design for residential, commercial, and other building projects.
- Prepare structural designs for beams, columns, slabs, foundations, and other structural elements.
- Review architectural drawings and develop appropriate structural layouts and design solutions.
- Prepare and review structural drawings, reinforcement detailing, and construction documentation.
- Conduct structural calculations and assess dead loads, live loads, wind loads, and seismic loads as applicable.
- Design RCC structures in accordance with applicable Indian Standards and building regulations.
- Use structural analysis and design software to model, analyse,



and verify structural systems.
- Coordinate with architects, civil engineers, MEP consultants, contractors, and project managers to resolve design conflicts.
- Conduct site visits to monitor structural execution and verify compliance with approved drawings.
- Review reinforcement placement, formwork, foundation work, and concrete-related activities as required.
- Identify structural discrepancies and recommend appropriate corrective actions in coordination with the responsible design team.
- Evaluate proposed structural modifications and prepare revised designs or drawings where necessary.
- Assist in reviewing soil investigation reports and determining suitable foundation systems in coordination with geotechnical specialists.
- Ensure structural designs comply with applicable safety requirements, quality standards, and project specifications.
- Maintain accurate records of structural calculations, drawings, revisions, and technical documentation.
- Support project teams in resolving technical challenges during design development and construction.

Required Skills and Qualifications

- Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering (BE/BTech) or a relevant qualification in Structural Engineering.
- A postgraduate qualification in Structural Engineering is an added advantage.
- 1–3 years of relevant experience in structural design, analysis, or building construction.
- Strong understanding of RCC design, structural analysis, and foundation engineering.
- Knowledge of beams,



columns, slabs, footings, retaining walls, and other structural elements.
- Familiarity with relevant Indian Standards, including IS 456, IS 875, and IS 1893, as applicable to the project.
- Proficiency in AutoCAD for structural drawings and detailing.
- Working knowledge of structural design software such as STAAD.Pro, ETABS, PROTECTED, or SAP2000.
- Ability to interpret architectural drawings and prepare coordinated structural layouts.
- Understanding of reinforcement detailing, construction methods, and site execution practices.
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and technical documentation skills.
- Good communication and coordination skills.

Preferred Candidate Profile

- Candidates with experience in residential or commercial building projects are preferred.
- Practical understanding of structural drawings, RCC detailing, and foundation design.
- Ability to coordinate effectively with architects, civil engineers, and site teams.
- Willingness to undertake site visits as required.
- Candidates who can join immediately or within a short notice period are preferred.

Work Details

- Working Days: Monday to Friday; Saturdays as required based on project needs.
- Working Hours: 10:00 AM to 7:00 PM.
- Work Location: Jayanagar 7th Block, Bengaluru.
- Work Mode: Work From Office.
