Job Purpose

The PRT Computer Teacher is responsible for introducing primary students to fundamental computer concepts and developing their digital literacy through age-appropriate, interactive, and activity-based teaching methods.

Key Responsibilities

- Teach basic computer concepts to primary school students.
- Prepare and deliver engaging, age-appropriate computer lessons.
- Introduce students to computer hardware, software, operating systems, and basic applications.
- Teach fundamental skills in typing, MS Word, MS Paint, PowerPoint, internet safety, and other age-appropriate applications.
- Conduct practical computer lab sessions and ensure effective use of technology.
- Develop students' logical thinking, problem-solving, and digital skills.
- Prepare lesson plans, worksheets, presentations, assignments, and teaching-learning materials.
- Assess students through classwork, practical activities, projects, tests, and examinations.
- Maintain student records and monitor academic progress.
- Ensure proper discipline and safety in the computer laboratory.
- Encourage responsible, safe, and ethical use of technology.
- Provide additional support to students who require academic assistance.
- Communicate students' progress and concerns to parents and school authorities when required.
- Participate in school events, workshops, exhibitions, competitions, and co-curricular activities.
- Coordinate with other teachers to integrate technology into classroom learning.
- Maintain and report basic computer/lab-related issues to the concerned department.

Required Qualifications

- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science / Information Technology / Computer Applications or a related field.
- B.Ed. / D.El.Ed. or equivalent teaching qualification preferred.
- Relevant teaching experience in a school environment preferred.
- Strong knowledge of basic computer applications and digital tools.

Required Skills

- Excellent communication and classroom management skills.

Job Purpose

The TGT Computer Teacher is responsible for teaching computer science and information technology concepts to middle and secondary school students, developing their programming, computational thinking, problem-solving, and digital literacy skills.

Key Responsibilities

- Plan and deliver effective Computer Science / IT lessons for secondary-level students.
- Teach topics such as computer fundamentals, programming, algorithms, databases, networking, cybersecurity, HTML/CSS, applications, and other subjects as per the school's curriculum.
- Conduct practical sessions and programming exercises in the computer laboratory.
- Develop students' computational thinking, logical reasoning, and problem-solving abilities.
- Prepare lesson plans, presentations, worksheets, projects, assignments, and practical activities.
- Conduct assessments, practical examinations, projects, quizzes, and periodic tests.
- Evaluate student performance and provide constructive feedback.
- Support students in developing programming and project-based learning skills.
- Encourage responsible, ethical, and secure use of technology and the internet.
- Maintain discipline and ensure proper use of computer laboratory equipment.




- Identify and support students who need additional academic assistance.
- Maintain accurate academic and assessment records.
- Stay updated with developments in computer science, educational technology, and digital learning tools.
- Coordinate with the Computer Science department and other faculty members for academic planning.
- Participate in school events, exhibitions, coding activities, competitions, workshops, and other co-curricular programs.
- Communicate effectively with parents regarding students' academic progress when required.
- Follow school policies, curriculum guidelines, examination procedures, and academic standards.

Required Qualifications

- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science / Information Technology / Computer Applications or a related field.
- B.Ed. or equivalent teaching qualification preferred/required as per school norms.
- Relevant school teaching experience preferred.
- Strong knowledge of programming and computer science fundamentals.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: ₹20,000.00 - ₹35,000.00 per month

Ability to commute/relocate:

- Jaipur, Rajasthan: Reliably commute or planning to relocate before starting work (Required)
