Autism Center of Excellence LLC is a U.S.-based organization providing Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA) therapy services to children with autism spectrum disorder. We are committed to maintaining high standards of clinical documentation, quality assurance, and compliance across our clinical operations.

We are looking for an experienced Clinical Documentation Auditor – ABA Therapy & Compliance to review ABA therapy documentation, identify documentation gaps, maintain audit trackers, and coordinate corrective actions with U.S.-based clinical, billing, and operations teams.

This role requires hands-on experience with ABA clinical documentation auditing. It is not an entry-level psychology or general medical billing position.

Key Responsibilities

- Audit daily ABA therapy session notes completed by RBTs, BTs, and BCBAs.
- Review clinical records, treatment plans, progress reports, reassessments, behavior intervention plans, and parent/caregiver training documentation.
- Identify missing information, incomplete notes, inconsistencies, missing signatures, and outdated documentation.
- Verify that records align with applicable payer requirements, authorized services, treatment goals, and organizational standards.
- Communicate audit findings and required corrections to the relevant clinical team members.
- Maintain daily, weekly, and monthly audit trackers and compliance reports.
- Monitor recurring errors, follow up on corrective actions, and recommend process improvements.
- Escalate significant documentation and compliance concerns to U.S. clinical leadership.




- Collaborate with BCBAs, Clinical Directors, billing teams, and operations managers.
- Maintain the confidentiality of protected health information and follow HIPAA requirements.
- Use CentralReach or similar electronic health record systems, Microsoft Excel, and reporting tools.

Required Qualifications

- Bachelor's or master's degree in Psychology, Applied Behavior Analysis, Special Education, or a related discipline.
- Minimum 2–4 years of relevant professional experience, including substantial hands-on ABA clinical documentation review and auditing.
- Practical experience auditing ABA session notes and clinical records.
- Knowledge of ABA terminology, treatment plans, clinical documentation, and insurance documentation requirements.
- Experience identifying documentation deficiencies and following up on corrections.
- Strong written and verbal English communication skills.
- Ability to communicate professionally with U.S.-based clinical teams.
- Valuable analytical skills, attention to detail, and proficiency in Excel and documentation tracking.
- Willingness to work the U.S. night shift from India.

Preferred Qualifications

- Experience supporting internal audits,



payer audits, clinical quality assurance, or compliance reviews.
- Familiarity with CentralReach or similar clinical documentation platforms.
- Experience preparing audit summaries, identifying recurring errors, and tracking corrective actions.

Key Performance Indicators (KPIs)

Performance will be measured based on:

- Completion of assigned documentation audits.
- Accuracy and consistency of audit findings.
- Timely communication and escalation of documentation deficiencies.
- Follow-up and closure of corrective actions.
- Reduction in recurring documentation errors.
- Accuracy of audit trackers and management reports.
- Professional communication and collaboration with U.S. teams.

Who Should Apply?

Candidates with only internship experience, academic psychology experience, general HR experience, or general administrative experience without hands-on ABA documentation auditing experience will not be considered suitable.
