Job Summary

EAM Business Analyst / Tester

This individual will bridge the gap between business needs and technical solutions, ensuring requirements are clearly defined and the system meets those needs.

Core Responsibilities:

- Elicit, analyze, and document business requirements for the EAM system, focusing on processes like work order management, inventory, purchasing, and asset lifecycle management.
- Translate business needs into functional and technical requirements for both the core EAM system and its integrations.
- Author and execute test cases based on business requirements and process flows.
- Perform functional, integration, and user acceptance testing (UAT) to ensure the system behaves as expected.
- Collaborate closely with the Test Lead to report defects and verify fixes.
- Develop procedural documentation and training materials to support business users.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

- Experience: 3+ years as a Business Analyst or in a hybrid BA/Tester role, or similar role.
- Domain Knowledge: Understanding of maintenance, repair, and operations (MRO) processes within a manufacturing or regulated environment.
- Technical Skills:
- Hands-on experience with EAM or CMMS systems.
- Proficiency in writing clear and concise business requirements and test cases.

- Analytical Skills: Excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities with high attention to detail.
- Soft Skills: Strong interpersonal skills, with an ability to communicate effectively with both technical and non-technical audiences.
