Job Title: FreeWheel Engineer

Job Summary

The ideal candidate should have hands-on experience with the FreeWheel Ad Server / Monetization Platform and a strong understanding of digital video advertising, ad serving, OTT ecosystems, and data integration workflows.

Key Responsibilities

- Configure, manage, and optimize FreeWheel ad-serving platforms.
- Integrate FreeWheel with video players, OTT platforms, and advertising ecosystems.
- Troubleshoot ad delivery, targeting, and reporting issues.
- Collaborate with data engineering and product teams to ensure seamless ad operations.
- Monitor campaign performance and ensure service-level agreements (SLAs) are met.
- Implement ad rules, targeting logic, and monetization strategies.
- Analyze logs and performance metrics to identify and resolve technical issues.

Required Skills & Qualifications

- Hands-on experience with FreeWheel Ad Server / Monetization Platform is mandatory.




- Strong understanding of digital video advertising standards such as VAST and VPAID.
- Experience with Server-Side Ad Insertion (SSAI) and Client-Side Ad Insertion (CSAI).
- Knowledge of OTT platforms and video streaming ecosystems.
- Familiarity with APIs, JSON, and data integration workflows.
- Basic knowledge of SQL for data validation and analysis.
- Solid debugging and problem-solving skills.

- Ability to work in a fast-paced, customer-facing environment.
- Proactive approach to problem-solving and ownership.

Working Hours

Candidates must be comfortable working in the 6:00 PM to 2:00 AM IST shift to align with customer requirements.
