Job Overview

We are looking for a dynamic, result-oriented Sales Consultant to drive sales of publishing and skilled service packages for aspiring, emerging and established authors.

The candidate will be responsible for understanding authors' requirements, recommending suitable service packages, generating business opportunities, converting leads into customers and achieving monthly sales targets.

Key Responsibilities

- Connect with aspiring and established authors through calls, emails, WhatsApp and other channels.
- Understand authors' requirements and recommend suitable publishing and author service packages.
- Sell service packages related to:
- Book publishing and self-publishing
- Manuscript editing and proofreading
- Book cover design and interior formatting
- ISBN and publishing assistance
- Book marketing and promotions
- Author branding and website development
- Social media marketing and PR services
- Book launch and promotional events
- Explain package features, pricing, benefits and delivery timelines.
- Follow up with prospective authors and convert enquiries into confirmed sales.
- Achieve monthly revenue and sales conversion targets.
- Maintain a healthy sales pipeline and update CRM records.
- Coordinate with editorial, design,



publishing and marketing teams to ensure smooth service delivery.
- Develop upselling and cross-selling opportunities.
- Build long-term relationships with authors and generate referrals.

Required Skills & Qualifications

- Bachelor's degree in any discipline preferred.
- 1–3 years of experience in sales, telesales, consultative selling or business development.
- Excellent communication and presentation skills.
- Robust negotiation and convincing abilities.
- Customer-focused approach with a passion for books, publishing and literature.
- Ability to explain service packages and close sales.
- Target-oriented and self-motivated.

Job Objective: To increase revenue by acquiring new authors, selling publishing service packages and building a strong customer base in the author services industry.

Pay: ₹12,000.00 - ₹20,000.00 per month
