You will test web and mobile applications, write test cases, and start automating them with guidance from senior engineers.
What you will do
- Write and run test cases for new features
- Log defects with transparent steps and evidence
- Write and maintain basic automated tests
- Take part in regression testing before each release
What you will need
- 1–3 years in software testing
- Good understanding of test design and the defect life cycle
- Basic programming in Python, Java, C# or JavaScript
- Web application testing
Good to have
- Playwright or Selenium
- Using GenAI prompts or AI coding assistants such as GitHub Copilot to generate test data or draft first-cut test cases
- Mobile app testing
- ISTQB Foundation
Education
B.E. / B.Tech in Computer Science, Electronics or a related field, or MCA
