As per experience and industry standards Reporting To: Sales Head / Management Job Summary We are looking for a proactive and customer-oriented Presales Executive to support the sales team in handling customer enquiries, qualifying prospective buyers, preparing quotations, coordinating with internal departments, and facilitating business conversion. The ideal candidate should possess strong communication and follow-up skills, a customer-focused approach, and preferably experience in FMCG distribution, wholesale trading, or retail sales.

Key Responsibilities
• Handle customer enquiries received through telephone, WhatsApp, email, online platforms, and other channels.
• Understand customer requirements, including product preferences, quantities, budget, delivery location, and purchase timelines.
• Identify and qualify potential customers, including retailers, wholesalers, distributors, and other business buyers.
• Provide product information, specifications, pricing details, product catalogues, and quotations.
• Prepare and share quotations, proposals, and relevant product details with prospective customers.
• Maintain accurate customer information, enquiry records, follow-up schedules, and sales pipeline details in the CRM system.
• Conduct regular follow-ups with prospective customers to convert enquiries into confirmed orders.
• Address customer queries, handle objections, and coordinate with the sales team for business closure.
• Coordinate with purchase, accounts, warehouse, and logistics teams for order processing and timely delivery.
• Assist in customer relationship management and provide after-sales support wherever required.
• Track enquiries, quotations, conversions, pending orders, and other sales-related KPIs.




• Prepare periodic reports on enquiry status, customer follow-ups, and sales activities. Required Qualifications & Skills
• Graduate in any discipline; B.
Com or BBA will be preferred.
• 1–3 years of experience in Presales, Inside Sales, Sales Coordination, or Customer Relationship Management.
• Experience in FMCG, wholesale distribution, retail trading, or a similar business environment will be an advantage.
• Strong communication skills in English and Tamil are essential.
• Knowledge of Hindi will be an added advantage.
• Familiarity with CRM tools such as Zoho CRM, HubSpot, Salesforce, or LeadSquared.
• Working knowledge of MS Excel, MS Word, email, and WhatsApp Business.
• Understanding of wholesale and retail pricing, margins, GST, and general trade terms will be preferred.
• Ability to manage multiple enquiries and maintain systematic follow-up records.
• Good interpersonal skills, customer-handling ability, and a target-oriented approach. Key Performance Indicators (KPIs)
