Role Description The Compliance Officer (RCM Industry) will oversee and strengthen compliance frameworks for revenue cycle operations, ensuring adherence to regulatory requirements and internal policies across Scale Healthcare's multisite client base in India. This full time, remote role involves monitoring RCM processes, conducting compliance reviews and audits, and identifying risks related to billing, documentation, and payer regulations. The Compliance Officer will develop and update compliance policies, support implementation of best practices, and collaborate with operations, finance, and client-facing teams to address findings and corrective actions.



The role includes preparing reports for leadership, supporting regulatory and internal investigations, delivering training on compliance standards, and staying current with relevant laws and guidelines affecting RCM activities.

Key Responsibilities:

- Ensure organizational compliance with HIPAA, SOC 1, SOC 2, HITRUST, and ISO 9001 standards.
- Develop, implement, and monitor compliance policies, procedures, and internal controls.
- Conduct regular compliance audits, risk assessments, and gap analyses.
- Coordinate with internal teams and external auditors during compliance reviews and certifications.
- Monitor regulatory changes and ensure timely implementation of compliance requirements.
- Lead training and awareness programs on data privacy, security, and compliance practices.
- Investigate compliance-related issues and recommend corrective and preventive actions.
- Maintain documentation, reports, and records related to compliance programs and certifications.

Preferred Qualifications: Experience in US Healthcare Revenue Cycle Management (RCM)

Strong knowledge of HIPAA, SOC 1, SOC 2, HITRUST, and ISO 9001 frameworks

Excellent analytical, documentation, and stakeholder management skills

Experience handling audits and certification processes
