Bangalore, India Report to: Finance Manager Type: Internship (3 months), Work from office Stipend: Unpaid (internship certificate provided) Role Overview Techno Brain is seeking a motivated Finance & Compliance Intern to support the Finance team with routine finance and compliance activities for a period of three months. Working under the direct supervision of the Finance team, you will assist with VAT refund documentation for UAE, statutory records, reimbursement verification, GST intercompany documentation, and day-to-day finance deliverables. The ideal candidate has basic accounting knowledge, good Excel skills, and a keen eye for detail. This is a hands-on learning opportunity offering practical exposure to finance operations in a multi-country technology organisation.

Key Responsibilities
• VAT Refund Support: Enter invoice details into the refund tracker, validate them against SAP records, and reconcile them with filed VAT return data for selected transactions.
• Statutory Records: Organise, index, and maintain physical statutory record files for 2026 for easy retrieval.
• Reimbursement Verification: Check employee reimbursement claims against supporting documents and flag discrepancies or missing documents.
• Intercompany Agreements:



Prepare draft intercompany agreements for GST compliance and audit documentation using approved templates.
• Assist with documentation, data entry, reconciliations, and trackers for daily, monthly, and quarterly finance deliverables.
• Coordinate with the Finance team to ensure tasks are completed accurately and on time. Key Qualifications & Experience

Education:
B.
Com, BBA (Finance), M.
Com, or MBA (Finance); candidates currently pursuing or having recently completed their degree are eligible.
• Having attempted or completed at least one group of CA/CMA Intermediate is an added advantage.
• Basic knowledge of accounting principles, GST, and VAT.
• Positive working knowledge of MS Excel, including VLOOKUP/XLOOKUP, Pivot Tables, and basic formulas.
• Basic understanding of account reconciliations and financial documentation. Ideal Candidate Attributes
