Job Description
Tasks /

Responsibilities:
· Design, build, and maintain advanced applications for the Android platform using Kotlin/Java.
· Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define, design, and ship new features.
· Ensure the performance, quality, and responsiveness of applications.
· Identify and correct bottlenecks, fix bugs, and improve application performance.
· Help maintain code quality, organization, and automatization.
· Continuously discover, evaluate, and implement new technologies to maximize development efficiency.
· Unit-test code for robustness, including edge cases, usability, and general reliability.
· Work with APIs and third-party libraries.
· Participate in code reviews to ensure code quality and share knowledge.
· Stay up to date with the latest trends, architectural patterns, and best practices in Android development.
Expected skill set:
· Solid proficiency in Kotlin and/or Java. (Specify preference if any, e.g.,



"Strong preference for Kotlin.")
· In-depth understanding of the Android SDK, Android Jetpack, and the Android application lifecycle.
· Experience integrating and working with core Android communication frameworks (e.g., Retrofit/OkHttp, WorkManager, Broadcast Receivers, Services).
· Experience with BLE (Bluetooth Low Energy) and Wi-Fi communication for IoT device integration (e.g., device pairing, GATT services/characteristics, Wi-Fi provisioning/socket communication).
· Solid understanding of object-oriented programming (OOP) principles and design patterns (e.g., MVVM, MVC, MVP, Clean Architecture).
· Experience with RESTful APIs to connect Android applications to backend services.
· Strong understanding of memory management, threading (Coroutines), and performance optimization for Android apps.
Good to have:Familiarity with dependency injection frameworks (e.g., Dagger/Hilt, Koin).
Experience with CI/CD pipelines for mobile applications.
Familiarity with Figma, Sketch, or other design tools.
Exposure to IoT protocols (e.g., MQTT, Websocket) and hardware/firmware communication debugging. Education and Work Experience
