Role Description The Fabrication Production Incharge is a full-time, hybrid role based in Raurkela, with on-site responsibilities at fabrication facilities and reporting tasks. This role is responsible for overseeing daily fabrication operations, including planning production schedules, allocating resources, and coordinating with engineering, quality, and site teams to meet project deadlines. The position involves supervising fabrication activities for piping, structural components, and equipment, ensuring adherence to drawings, specifications, safety standards, and quality requirements. The Fabrication Production Incharge monitors workflow, resolves operational issues, maintains production documentation,



and supports material management and inventory control. The role also includes leading and guiding fabrication teams, conducting toolbox talks, and collaborating with project managers to support shutdown, turnaround, and construction project timelines. Qualifications
• Solid knowledge of fabrication processes for piping, structural steel, and equipment, including interpretation of engineering drawings and welding procedures.
• Experience in production planning, resource allocation, and workflow management within fabrication shops or industrial project environments.
• Understanding of industrial safety standards, safe work practices, and compliance with company and client safety requirements.
• Ability to supervise and coordinate teams of fabricators, fitters, welders, and helpers, with effective leadership and people-management skills.
• Familiarity with quality control procedures, dimensional checks, material traceability, and documentation for fabricated components.
• Good communication and coordination skills for working with engineering, procurement, site execution, and client representatives.
• Basic computer skills for reporting, production tracking, and use of MS Office or similar tools; exposure to ERP or production management systems is an advantage.
• Diploma or degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related field; relevant vocational training with substantial fabrication experience may be considered.
• Prior experience in Oil & Gas, Petrochemical, Refinery, Power, or heavy industrial projects is highly beneficial.
