Engineer for Heat Treatment

Job Description:Operate & Monitor Heat Treatment process

Objectives:

- Hand on experience on Continuous Mesh belt, SQF & Batch furnaces.
- Experience in fasteners industry preferred.
- 100% Follow safe work procedures report safety concerns.
- 100% Produce quality parts, on time, in the quantities defined by the production schedule.
- Knowledge on TPM, IATF, EMS, QCC & 5S.
- Experience on Utilities handling, emergency procedures handling & abnormal situations handling
- Knowledge on Heat Treatment process, surface grinding, milling will be added advantage.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

- Need to handle shift activities along with work force.
- Need to handle 30 to 40 people to meet production target.
- Need to do patrolling inspection throughout secondary operations section.
- Assign of works to workforce based on experience.
- Experience in handling Hardness tester like Rockwell, Vickers etc...
- Able to Operate & Minor trouble shoot Furnace.




- Experience on abnormal & emergency situation handling.
- Experience in handling & implementing solution for minor breakdowns with the help of shift team.
- Knowledge on problem solving tools.
- Knowledge on Machining process like CNC Turning, Grinding, Thread rolling Cold forging.
- Knowledge on process recent process establishment with team
- Support a team to work towards the department and Division's goals.
- Actively participates in Continuous Improvement Process (CIP).
- Knowledge on MPI & eddy current.
- Knowledge on milling, surface grinding

Qualifications:

- B Tech in Metallurgy/Mechanical Engineering or Diploma in Metallurgy/Mechanical
- 3+ for B. Tech/ 10+ for Diploma Years of experience in manufacturing environment (Cold forging)
