? Database Administrator (Engineer) ? Level IILocation: Hyderabad Experience Level: Mid-Level (Level II) Job SummaryWe are looking for a skilled Database Administrator (DBA) ? Engineer Level II with hands-on experience in managing, administering, and maintaining database environments across SQL Server, MySQL, PostgreSQL, Azure, and AWS platforms. The ideal candidate should have strong expertise in database performance tuning, migration, troubleshooting, automation, and change management.

Key Responsibilities
• Install, configure, administer, and maintain SQL Server, MySQL, and PostgreSQL database environments.
• Manage and support cloud-based database platforms, including Azure Databases and AWS RDS.
• Perform database migrations, upgrades, patching, and version management.
• Monitor database performance, identify bottlenecks, and implement performance-tuning solutions.
• Perform database backup, recovery, and restoration activities to ensure data availability and business continuity.
• Develop and maintain automation scripts using Shell Scripting, PowerShell, and Python.
• Troubleshoot database-related incidents and provide timely resolution.
• Implement database security, access management, and compliance standards.
• Handle database change management activities, including planning, execution, validation, and documentation.
• Collaborate with application, infrastructure, and cloud teams to support database operations.
• Monitor database health, capacity, availability,



and resource utilization.
• Maintain technical documentation, operational procedures, and database support reports. Required Technical Skills
• Strong hands-on experience with Microsoft SQL Server.
• Working experience with MySQL and PostgreSQL databases.
• Knowledge of Microsoft Azure database services and cloud database administration.
• Experience with AWS database services, particularly Amazon RDS.
• Hands-on experience in database migration and upgrade activities.
• Robust understanding of database performance tuning and query optimization.
• Scripting knowledge in Shell Script, PowerShell, and Python.
• Experience in database backup, recovery, monitoring, and troubleshooting.
• Understanding of database security, access controls, and change management processes. Good to Have
• Experience managing hybrid and multi-cloud database environments.
• Knowledge of high availability (HA), disaster recovery (DR), and replication.
• Experience with database automation and monitoring tools.
• Exposure to cloud migration strategies and database modernization.
• Relevant Azure or AWS cloud certifications. Desired Candidate Profile
