Job purpose In accordance with the company-internal standard operating procedure (SOP) based on the IEC 62304 standard, a Medical Software Engineer shall design and develop the software for medical grade products. Responsibilities Product Software Development and Improvements (Weightage: 50%):
• Participates to the software development, maintenance, change, and improvement of products for all product families in accordance with the Product Development process.
• Plan, lead and support all other Medical Software Engineers, on the Product Development activities.
• Develops the application software for the products as per the software development lifecycle.
• Performs software unit verification tests according to requirement specifications.
• Collaborate with, and provide technical assist to, other R&D; team members, including global team.
• Coordinates with after-sales teams, support teams, external resources and/ or customers to resolve product issues. Product Documentation, Maintenance and Support (Weightage: 50%):
• Generates documentation to produce software development records as per operating processes.
• Generates documentation for technical changes and software releases.




• Partners with Manufacturing, Engineering and Quality departments to ensure their contribution to the product development process.

• Hands-on with the Object-Oriented Programming in Embedded C++ environment.

• Collaborates with SW Testing team and R&D; Engineers on Requirement Verification.
• Coordinate with EMS organizations for manufacturing and testing as per the standard guidelines.
• Knowledge of relevant international standards in the area of medical devices.
