About the role
You will be the extended arm of the practice head: turning solution designs into working builds for client PoCs, sales demos and live projects. Much of the work fills gaps in standard IDMC, especially custom UIs and workflows, and packages them as reusable accelerators. This is a builder's role on a modern cloud stack. You will work across IDMC PIM/MDM, Salesforce integration and AI-assisted development with Claude and MCP, and you will grow with the practice as these products evolve.

Key responsibilities
PoCs and pre-sales
• Build end-to-end PoCs and demo environments on IDMC PIM/MDM for client pitches and RFPs, often on short timelines.
• Configure data models, hierarchies, attributes, match/merge and survivorship rules from solution designs.
• Prepare sample data, demo scripts and walkthroughs alongside the solution architect. Custom features and accelerators on IDMC gaps
• Design and build custom UI extensions where standard IDMC screens fall short (e.g., data stewardship views, bulk editors, enrichment screens).
• Build custom approval and enrichment workflows using IDMC Application Integration (CAI) processes and business process orchestration.
• Package recurring solutions as reusable accelerators: templates, connectors, scripts, validation rule libraries.
• Document each accelerator so it can be reused across projects. Integration
• Build integrations between IDMC PIM/MDM and Salesforce (Sales Cloud, Commerce, Data Cloud) using REST/SOAP APIs, CAI and CDI.
• Integrate with ERP (SAP), e-commerce and downstream channel systems as projects require.



AI-assisted and agentic development
• Use Claude and other AI tools to speed up development, testing, documentation and data mapping.
• Build MCP servers and agentic workflows that connect AI assistants to IDMC and Salesforce APIs, e.g., for data quality checks, product enrichment or steward assistance.
• Track Informatica CLAIRE/AI agent features and evaluate where they fit client use cases. Project delivery
• Take hands-on development tasks on live projects: configuration, mappings, integrations, testing and deployment.
• Support unit testing, SIT, UAT defect fixes and production go-lives.
• Write clear technical documentation and keep the practice lead updated on progress and blockers. Must-have skills
• 2–5 years of hands-on development in data management, data integration or cloud application development.
• Working experience on Informatica IDMC (any service: CDI, CAI, CDQ, MDM/PIM SaaS) on at least one project.
• Valuable hands-on experience with IDMC connectors: configuring standard connectors (Salesforce, SAP, databases, REST/OData, flat files, cloud storage) and building custom or REST V2 connections for non-standard sources.
• Strong understanding of master data concepts: data models, hierarchies, golden records, match/merge, data quality rules.
• REST/SOAP APIs and JSON/XML; able to call, debug and build API-based integrations.




• Scripting or programming in at least one of JavaScript, Python or Java.
• Solid SQL and data profiling skills.
• Front-end basics (HTML, CSS, JavaScript; React or similar a plus) for custom UI work.
• Clear written and spoken communication with clients and internal teams. Good-to-have skills
• PIM experience on Informatica Product 360 (on-prem or IDMC SaaS): product data models, taxonomies, enrichment, channel syndication.
• Informatica MDM SaaS (Customer 360, Supplier 360, Reference 360) or Business 360 Console experience.
• Salesforce platform knowledge: Apex, Lightning Web Components, Flows, Data Cloud or Commerce Cloud.
• Exposure to building with LLMs: Claude, prompt engineering, MCP servers, AI agents or agent frameworks.
• Domain exposure to retail, FMCG, manufacturing, automotive or life sciences product data.
• Informatica or Salesforce certifications (e.g., IDMC Cloud Data Integration, MDM SaaS, Salesforce Platform Developer, Data Cloud Consultant).
• Git, CI/CD and basic cloud (AWS / Azure / GCP) familiarity. Who we're looking for
• A builder first: you enjoy writing code and configuring systems more than producing slides.
• Eager to upskill fast on IDMC PIM, Salesforce integration and AI-agent tooling, and you already experiment with new tools on your own.
• Comfortable with ambiguity and short PoC deadlines; you can take a rough requirement and return a working demo.
• Ownership mindset: you flag blockers early, finish what you start and document what you build.
• Curious about the business side of product, customer and supplier data, not only the technical side.
