The role We're looking for a Production Design Engineer to turn approved designs into accurate, buildable production drawings. You'll take an architect's or designer's concept and engineer it into a drawing set that our manufacturing partners can produce right the first time. You'll be the link between design intent and the factory floor, and precision is the job.

What you'll do
• Prepare detailed production and shop drawings for wardrobes, walk-in wardrobes, modular kitchens, vanities, TV units and other storage
• Detail loose furniture (beds, sofas, dining, consoles, side tables) with complete dimensions, joinery and material callouts
• Produce wall panel elevations, sections and installation details, including panel layouts, grooves, profiles, skirting and junctions with doors and openings
• Draw plans, elevations, sections and exploded views, plus enlarged details of joints, hardware fixing points and edge treatments
• Prepare cutting lists, panel schedules, hardware schedules and material/finish specifications for each project
• Translate the designer's drawings and site measurements into manufacturable solutions while protecting the original design intent
• Choose and specify hardware (hinges, channels, lift-ups, wardrobe and kitchen fittings, lighting provisions)



and check clearances and functionality
• Coordinate with the design, project and site teams on measurements, services (electrical, plumbing, appliances) and site conditions
• Answer technical queries from manufacturing partners and revise drawings quickly and accurately
• Keep drawing revisions, naming conventions and title blocks in order across the project lifecycle
• Check drawings against the approved design before they go to production, and support final quality checks What we're looking for
• Diploma or degree in Interior Design, Furniture Design, Product Design, Architecture or Mechanical/Production Engineering
• 3-4 years of experience making production or shop drawings for furniture, modular kitchens, wardrobes or interior joinery
• Strong command of AutoCAD (essential) and SketchUp. Working knowledge of 3ds Max, Rhino, SolidWorks, Fusion 360 or furniture software (Cabinet Vision, Imos, Microvellum, Polyboard) is a plus
• Sound understanding of board materials (plywood, MDF, HDHMR, particle board), veneers, laminates, lacquer, PU and duco finishes, glass, metal and stone
• Knowledge of carcass construction, joinery methods, edge banding, shutter types and standard module sizes
• Familiarity with premium hardware systems such as Blum, Hettich, Häfele and Grass
• An eye for detail, along with the ability to read an architect's drawing and spot what's missing before it becomes a problem on site
• Clear communication and disciplined file management
