About the role
You will own a portfolio of our National Enterprise Accounts end to end — revenue, expansion, service, and commercial health. This is not an order-taking role. You are the single face of the company to the client, and the single voice of the client inside the company. You will be measured on how much the clients grows,
how many new client locations you open, and how few problems reach the client's leadership. What you'll own Grow the existing book
• Increase wallet share at locations we already serve — new lanes, new vehicle types, new business units within the same client.
• Build and defend annual revenue targets per account, tracked month on month.
• Run structured QBRs with client stakeholders: performance against SLA, cost saved, volume trends, and a forward plan. Open new locations
• Map the client's full network and identify every city, plant, DC, or dark store where we aren't present.
• Build the internal business case (volume, pricing, vehicle supply, breakeven) and drive it through operations, supply, and finance to a live go.
• Own the launch: SLA agreement, first-90-day stabilisation. Be the single point of contact
• One number the client calls, whatever the issue — ops, billing, compliance, new requirements.
• Own escalations from intake to root cause to closure, with a written RCA back to the client on anything material.
• Set the internal escalation matrix so the client never has to chase two people for one problem. Commercial hygiene
• Resolve invoicing disputes — POD gaps, rate mismatches, detention and waiting charges, unbilled trips.
• Work with finance and the client's payables team to keep DSO and outstanding within agreed limits; drive collections on ageing buckets.
• Own rate revisions, annual contract renewals, and any diesel or toll-linked escalation clauses. Work the data
• Build and maintain account dashboards: revenue, contribution margin, trips, fill rate, ontime performance,
placement adherence, cost per trip.
• Bring analysis, not anecdotes, to both client reviews and internal reviews — spot leakage, declining lanes, and margin erosion before someone else does.
• Knowledge of Excel is non-negotiable Work across functions
• Partner with operations, supply, technology, finance, and legal to deliver what you've committed to the client.
• Influence teams you don't manage — you'll need to get a vehicle-supply plan or a tech integration prioritised without formal authority. What we're looking for
• 8–10+ years in key account management, B2B sales, or client servicing — logistics, 3PL, supply chain, or a related B2B services industry preferred.
• A track record of growing a named account book, with numbers you can talk to.
• Comfortable with senior client stakeholders (Supply Chain Head, CPO, plant and category leadership) and equally comfortable on a warehouse floor at 6 am.
• Strong commercial instincts — you understand contribution margin, not just top line, and you know when to hold a rate.
• Willing to travel 10–15 days a month across client locations.
• Bachelor's degree required; MBA preferred but not essential.
• Fluent in English and Hindi; a regional language is a plus. How success is measured
• Revenue growth on the existing portfolio (YoY and QoQ)
• Number of current client locations opened and revenue ramped within 90 days
• Contribution margin held at or above target
• DSO and overdue outstanding within agreed thresholds
• Escalation closure TAT and repeat-escalation rate
• Client retention and contract renewal rate
