– SAP HR / SAP HCM Consultant (Indian Payroll)

4–8 Years Employment Type: Full time Work Mode: As per client requirement Job Overview We are looking for an experienced SAP HR / SAP HCM Consultant with strong functional expertise in Indian Payroll, Personnel Administration and Organizational Management. The candidate should have hands-on experience in SAP HCM configuration, payroll processing, implementation, support and troubleshooting.

Key Responsibilities
• Configure and support SAP HCM modules, with a primary focus on Indian Payroll.
• Handle end-to-end Indian Payroll processing, including monthly payroll runs, off-cycle payroll and payroll corrections.
• Configure and maintain payroll schemas, PCRs (Personnel Calculation Rules) and wage types.
• Work on Personnel Administration (PA), Organizational Management (OM) and Time Management (TM).
• Manage statutory payroll components, including:
• Provident Fund (PF)
• Employee State Insurance (ESI)
• Professional Tax (PT)
• Income Tax / TDS
• Labour Welfare Fund (LWF)
• Gratuity and Bonus
• Handle payroll configuration related to earnings, deductions, reimbursements and statutory contributions.
• Manage payroll posting to SAP Finance (FI) and reconciliation activities.
• Support year-end payroll activities, Form 16 generation and tax declarations.




• Troubleshoot payroll errors and resolve employee payroll-related issues.
• Conduct unit testing, integration testing and user acceptance testing (UAT).
• Prepare functional specifications, configuration documents and user manuals.
• Coordinate with HR, Finance, technical and business teams for process improvements. Mandatory Skills
• 5–10 years of hands-on experience in SAP HCM.
• Strong expertise in SAP Indian Payroll configuration and processing.
• Positive understanding of payroll schemas, PCRs and wage types.
• Experience in SAP Personnel Administration (PA) and Organizational Management (OM).
• Knowledge of Indian statutory compliance and payroll regulations.
• Experience in payroll reconciliation and FI integration.
• Strong troubleshooting and analytical skills. Good to Have
• Experience in SAP HCM implementation, rollout and support projects.
• Knowledge of SAP SuccessFactors Employee Central and integration with SAP HCM.
• Exposure to SAP S/4HANA and SAP HCM migration.
• Experience in SAP ABAP debugging for payroll-related issues.
• Knowledge of time evaluation and attendance management. Education Bachelor's degree in HR, Commerce, Finance, Accounting, or a relevant discipline. Candidate Details Required:
