Role Description The IGCSE French Teacher will deliver high-quality French language instruction to secondary learners following the Cambridge IGCSE curriculum at the Erode campus. This full-time, on-site role includes planning and delivering engaging lessons, preparing learners for formative and summative assessments, and supporting them in building solid communication skills in French. Responsibilities include creating lesson plans and learning resources, assessing student progress, providing constructive feedback,



and maintaining accurate academic records. The teacher will collaborate with colleagues on curriculum planning, participate in school events, parent meetings, and professional development activities, and contribute to a positive, inclusive classroom environment that encourages cultural awareness and global-mindedness. Qualifications
• Demonstrated expertise in French Teaching and strong language proficiency suitable for IGCSE-level instruction.
• Proven experience in classroom Teaching and Tutoring, preferably with Cambridge or similar international curricula.
• Background in Education and exposure to Teacher Training or professional development in language teaching methodologies.
• Relevant degree in French, Languages, Education, or a related field; teaching certification or diploma is an advantage.
• Experience preparing learners for board or external examinations, especially IGCSE or equivalent international assessments.
• Ability to design student-centric lesson plans, use varied instructional strategies, and integrate technology in teaching.
• Strong classroom management, communication, and interpersonal skills, with a commitment to inclusive and values-based education.
• Willingness to participate in co-curricular activities, parent engagement, and ongoing professional learning at an on-site school setting in Erode.
