Role Description The Junior Accountant is a full-time, on-site role based at Aguada Anchorage in North Goa. This position supports daily accounting operations, including recording financial transactions, maintaining ledgers, and assisting with accounts payable and receivable activities. The role involves reconciling bank and cash accounts, preparing basic financial reports, and helping with month-end closing processes. The Junior Accountant will assist in invoicing, expense tracking, and verification of vendor and guest bills to ensure accuracy and compliance with internal policies. The individual will collaborate with the finance and operations teams, support audits and documentation,



and help implement efficient financial processes for the resort. Qualifications
• Candidates should possess foundational accounting skills, including knowledge of double-entry bookkeeping, general ledger maintenance, and basic financial reporting.
• Candidates should possess skills in accounts payable and receivable, invoice processing, bank reconciliations, and expense tracking.
• Candidates should possess proficiency with Tally ERP accounting software and Microsoft Excel spreadsheets, along with strong data entry accuracy and numeracy.
• Candidates should possess analytical and problem-solving skills relevant to identifying discrepancies and supporting audits.
• Candidates should possess solid organizational and time management skills to handle multiple tasks and meet deadlines.
• Candidates should possess effective written and verbal communication skills to coordinate with internal teams and external partners.
• Candidates should ideally have a diploma or bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Commerce, or a related field.
• Candidates should possess the ability to work on-site in North Goa, maintain confidentiality, and uphold ethical standards in all financial activities; prior experience in hospitality or resort operations is an added advantage.
